But I’ve been thinking, does it really matter if I go bankrupt writing this blog? I don’t think so…because the best part is– I get to keep all the clothes, lucky me!  And the clothes are amazing. Honestly though just writing this blog andf being able to enjoy my SL is probably more than enough for me. I’m getting out there and despite the lag; one day I will conquer it all!!! Trust that I can do it. What am I going to do after that though? Buy a throne? Nooo too cheesy. I’ll come up with something else.

Just a little update: I’m doing lots of research and lots of exploring and putting together some really amazing looks; this is too exciting, I’m sure I probably should not be enjoying a blog this much….but I do! So next week I’ll be unveiling some ideas, looks, and shops!

Get ready and tell your friends! Sure it would be nice to be the most stylish of all your friends but who wants to have out with poor dressing friends? Hehe…

 So I’ve got all these ideas floating through my head of how I want to progress and involve this blog into my daily SL life; so many I can hardly keep up I have yet to write any down though, but I’m not worried I’ll remember. So with my first post out of the way I was ready to explore SL stores I had never been to, at first I ventured into the happy, colorful, trippy, outrageous boutiques with sheeny hair and solid clothes…needless to say I wanted MORE! I knew there had to be a place I would gasp about adn then I landed in Retrology(is that Retro-ology or retrol-ogy). I ended up visting this sim because of a result for a hot shop. I like hats but I’m really picky and those werent’ my style, so I stepped out thinking I’m sure there is more….there has to be. Here I found some amazing shops that I had to try and restrain myself from losing my lindens. There was Savvy, they had great seperates and some really nice basic pieces to mix and match with. There was a small ZHAO branch there and sometimes I feel a little overwhelmed at the main ZHAO shoe store; I feel as though there is too much white and waiting for rezzing I slowly lose interest. With the passed recent Stiletto Moody sale, I really don’t think I need any shoes even though I bought two pairs of boots earlier today from J’s. There was a divine pair of brown boots with excellent detail–chains and the entire boot was made out of straps, I believe they were astros and at $L650 they were gorgeous but I had to wait…but I don’t have any brown boots so maybe I should indulge? Finally my last major impression was made by the vintage-esque Thimbles, where I just happened to meet the owner, Apatia Hammer-she was having a great night in RL and she wasn’t shy to let me in on the party… We talked for maybe half an hour and she gave me a few shopping tips, but you’ll just have to wait to see what I came up with…..

So I bought plenty in Retrology but that wasn’t my only stop. To truly get that great boho look you’ve got to layer and that isn’t always the easiest thing to achieve in SL…we need more serperates or even better clothes in all layers. I know I’m not desigining(yet) but when I am ready to make the leap into designing for SL that will be a focus of mine.

 Well this outfit is really rich in color I think, I am really looking forward to all the jewel tones and tinted hues of spring. We’ve got the opportunity to get out of the ever present pastels and into richer colors and that is truly exciting, right? YES! At MG I found some really great high-waisted shorts that come in a multitude of colors and I couldn’t pass them up! Look at those details-the buttons, the cuffs and they aren’t too short or too long. My new favorites, I’ll have to get more colors! Then at Veschi I couldn’t resist they tights fatpack… tintable, fan patters, and 50% off! I chose the heavy knit here because its still chilly outside and don’t want to get to a sim to find its snowing do you? Plus its a really great layerd look and the color accentuates the shorts wonderfully(didn’t have to change the tint)! Finding a shirt was tough. I don’t have many shirts but I knew I wanted something simple with a nice cut and I found this plain tee; it doesn’t distract and the white is a nice balace to the bold colors beneath…

Accessories..hmm….I’ve never been a huge gold fan but it is definitely making a comeback and I just happen to have these gold hoops and Caroline’s  XOXO Heart necklace(both freebies…love those) and it worked. Perhaps a bolder necklace would have been nice but I think the chunky earrings and deep-v were enough. Plus a stack of Snakeskin bangles and the divin SM Bootie. I love this look…

Now just off my 100th day anniversary (a true veteran right? No!) I’m not so sure that I’m really expressing myself. Sometimes I still feel like a newbie, there is just so much to see in the metaverse and its all so pret- wait no….not all of it, but there are a lot of pretty things I feel I need to own. So maybe its my new years resolution or maybe I’ve started this blog because my inventory is becoming a little more than unmanageable-something I knew would probably come, but wasn’t so sure it would happen so soon!

Some may argue that “BOHO IS DEAD,” but really its an ever evolving trend and its not like I’m saying, “ya you’re hot in your grandmothers dress!” UGH. No way….not to mention the new ever present frangrance that comes with gramdma’s dress… MOTH BALLS! Mmmmm….
